Rosarita and Dendrite Opal in Silver
$195.00
The striking pendant is made of solid silver and is an original, one of a kind design and fabrication by PA artist Sandy Calderone. The pendant measures 2.5″ in length by 1.5″ at widest point. The red stone is Rosarita and the white stone is Dendrite Opal.
Rosarita is a unique material, which derives its exceptionally rich, red color from the process of gold refining. It is a unique by-product of the 1960s and 1970s gold refining processes. Alaskan beach sand was smelted for its gold content and the slag by-product was Rosarita, which is essentially a gold-infused glass.
Dendrite Opal is a form of common Opal that has dark dendritic, tubular or orbicular markings within the base Opal, which can be composed of Manganese, the dendrites (plumes) often appear to be shaped like mosses, ferns or trees.
The dendrite opal is used for healing in many ways like it improves the functioning of the eyes and the digestive system. This gemstone lifts the feelings of lethargy and sluggishness. It reminds the wearer to encourage positive emotions and also helps him in appreciating the care and love of our closest ones.
Silver is the metal of emotions, of the psychic mind, and of loving as well as healing. It is used to bring patience and perseverance to the wearer. When silver is used with gemstones, the metal retains and amplifies the qualities emitted by the stones.
